A couple of weeks ago, we had one of those moments when we bought our very first car together, just the two of us. It was scary/exciting/insane all at the same time! Our 1998 Honda's transmission finally decided that it was just about done, so we took it in to the shop to see how much it would cost to fix. We discovered that the transmission wasn't the only thing that needed fixing. When the price to fix the car is well over the actual value of the car, it's time to move on.
So after several days of online searching and one really long day at car dealerships, we came home with this beauty....
It's a used 2009 Ford Fusion and we love it! Because Chris is an employee of BYU, he gets discounts at lots of local businesses, including the car dealership where we bought this baby! Yay BYU!! :-)
For those of you who are keeping track (or who should be keeping track), our family now owns 2 FORDs! hahaha! I promise I didn't even have to threaten, torture, or bribe Chris at all! In the great Ford v. Chevy debate, right now in our house the score is Ford-2 Chevy-0 :-)
the only reason we have two fords is cause my wife is a heathenistic dictator who runs my life with an iron fist! my opinions about cars are rarely even heard let alone considered! haha! :-) j/k but someday i will get my Chevy truck.
