To celebrate Valentine's Day, we decided to get together with some of our neighbor-friends and make a 5-course meal. I forgot to take my camera so I didn't get any pictures, but the food was amazing!!
Here's the menu:
Appetizer - shredded potato nest filled with sour cream and chives
Soup- broccoli cheese soup with breadsticks for dipping
Salad - Baby spinach mixed with mandarin oranges, almond slivers, craisins, and poppy seed dressing
Main Course - Pork tenderloin served on a bed of wild rice
Dessert - Lemon pound cake topped with strawberry syrup and cool whip
To drink we had a strawberry/orange juice served in red-sugar rimmed goblets
There were 6 of us that got together: Bridger, Stacy, Kassie, Celeste, Chris and myself. We all ate until we were stuffed and still had food left over. We even took a break before dessert to watch Enchanted. I'm so excited about how everything turned out! It was a lot of work, but it was really fun and delicious!
To top it all off, my sweet hubby got me these beautiful flowers! Thanks babe!
