We had a busy week last week. Our good friend Celeste needed to move back home to Texas kinda last minute, so we decided that we would go along to help! Bridger & Stacy also had decided to help her drive down, so we made arrangements and then headed off on our impromptu road trip! We loaded up Celeste's car and our car and left Wednesday night around 7:30 p.m. The plan was to drive straight through, switching drivers as needed to keep everyone fresh. Everything went fairly smoothly, especially once we stopped and got a pet carrier for Celeste's cat to keep her from climbing all over the place in the car. We made it to Denton, TX on Thursday evening around 4:00 p.m.

The weather was amazing when we got there! We very much enjoyed being out of the car and just relaxing outside in the gorgeous weather. We spent Thursday night in Denton and then Chris and I took a detour over to see Parker Chiropractic College Friday morning. It is a very nice campus and all of the people we met were very friendly and helpful. We loved it! After a tasty BBQ lunch, we said our goodbyes to Celeste and the 4 of us drove down to Houston to see my family. We figured we couldn't be that close without stopping by to say hello! It was a very short visit but we got to play, eat, explore downtown Houston, show Bridger & Stacy around a bit, and even see my sister finish the Rodeo 10k run! We also made time to watch BYU beat SDSU on Saturday before leaving Saturday evening around 6:30 p.m. to drive back to Provo. We arrived in Provo around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.

It was a VERY long drive, but we had fun and were very blessed with no car trouble and great weather almost the whole way!
